Butterflies

A. is fascinated by the butterflies we find pooling by the lake and landing on flowers in the meadow. He has learned how to sign butterfly and calls his bowtie pasta "butterfly".

Butterfly was one of Esme's first and favorite words, too! We had a little fingerplay about them that she has always loved...
